本校前身為民國十一年四月友蚋改良書房，迄於民國五十八年一月更名為基隆市七堵區復興國民小學。校舍3棟；校地0.33公頃。友蚋地區為礦工之山區，於民國五十一年譜，曾為七堵地區第二大小學，總計學生有七百位光景；然因山區交通不便，礦區漸漸沒落，學生人數逐漸減少。

 Youruei Studying Academy was the predecesspr of Fu Shing Elementary School since April 1912;
  it was  renamed as Fu Shing Elementary School of Cidu district area of Keelung in January of 1969.
  Youruei was a mining area in 1962, and Fu Shing Elementary school was once a second primary
  school in Cidu District area with total 700 students rounded. Because the traffic of mountain mining
  area was quite inconvenient also Youruei mining area had declined gradually, student numbers once
  had been reduced less than 50. Today, a large community has moved in Youruei area, this factor
  pushes our student numbesr up to 100 in average.

• 民國十一年四月間：開設友蚋改良書房，為本校前身。
• 民國十二年四月：改制為暖暖公學友蚋分教場。
• 民國十三年四月：改屬為五堵公學校友蚋分教場。
• 民國二十六年四月：成立友蚋公學校。
• 民國三十年四月：全台改制易名五堵西國民學校。
• 民國三十四年十月：臺灣光復，更名為友蚋國民學校，首任校長為陳金埤先生。
• 民國三十六年一月：七堵劃歸基隆市改稱基隆市七堵區友蚋國民學校。
• 民國三十六年六月：蘇春長先生接任校長。
• 民國四十年八月：設立友三分班。
• 民國四十二年十月：藍金中先生接任校長。
• 民國四十四年九月：設立港口分班。
• 民國四十七年八月：陳銘錦先生接任校長。
• 民國四十九年六月：余萬居先生接任校長。
• 民國五十五年十二月：商大梅先生接任校長。
• 民國五十七年九月：配合九年國民教育改稱基隆市七堵區友蚋國民小學。
• 民國五十八年一月：正名為基隆市七堵區復興國民小學。
• 民國六十一年十二月：楊幼卿先生接任校長。
• 民國六十七年二月：林振洋先生接任校長。
• 民國七十一年八月：洪武夫先生接任校長。
• 民國七十六年二月：陳勝義先生接任校長。
• 民國八十年二月：許萬華先生接任校長。
• 民國八十三年二月：余德豐先生代理校長。
• 民國八十三年八月：辛政信先生接任校長。
• 民國八十五年八月：杜太昭先生接任校長。
• 民國八十八年八月：彭麗琦女士接任校長。
• 民國九十一年八月：鄭兆斌先生接任校長。
• 民國九十八年八月：王麗蓉女士接任校長。
• 民國一百零五年二月：師瓊璐女士代理校長。
• 民國一百零五年八月：蕭宏宇先生接任校長。
• 民國一百零九年八月：陳心瑩女士接任校長。

April 1922          It is this school predecessor to open Youruei and   improve the study.
  April 1913          Reformed system and divided and taught the field for  the Nuan Nuan common 
                          schoolmate's Youruei .
  April 1914          Change to belong to and divide and teach the field  for Youruei of five common schools.
  April 1937          You Ruei common school was established .
  April 1941          The whole Taiwan reformed system and renamed The  West of Wu Du national schools.
  October 1945     Taiwan recovered, renaming as You Ruei national school, the first prinicipal is
                           Mr. Chen  Jin-Pi.
  January 1947      ChiDu into Keelung and renamed as ChiDu District You Ruei national school of seven
                            pieces market area of Keelung .
  June 1947           Mr. Su Chun-Chang took over a prinicipal .
  August 1951       Set up friend three to divide into several classes .
  October 1953      Mr.Lan Jin-Zhong took over a prinicipal.
  September 1955  Set up the port to divide into several classes .
  August 1958        Mr. Chen Ming-Jin took over a prinicipal .
  June 1960            Mr.Yu Wan-Ju took over a prinicipal.
  December 1966    Trader old Mr. Mei took over a prinicipal.
  September 1968   National education renamed as You Ruei national primary school of seven pieces of
                             market area of Keelung.
  January 1969        Modify of Keelung Municipal Fu Shing Elementary School.
  December 1972    Mr.Yang You-Qing took over a prinicipal.
  February 1978       Mr.Lin Zhen-Yang took over a prinicipal.
  August 1982         Mr. Hong Wu-Fu takes over a prinicipal.
  February 1987      Mr. Chen Sheng-Yi took over a prinicipal.
  February 1991      Mr.Xu Wan-Hua took over a prinicipal.
  February 1994      Mr.Yu De-Feng acted for the prinicipal.
  August 1994         Mr.Xin Zheng-Xin took over a prinicipal.
  September 1995   Become open and educate running the school as an experiment.
  August 1996         Mr. Du Tai-Zhao took over a prinicipal.
  August 1999         Ms. Qi Peng took over a prinicipal .

  August 2002         Mr. Zheng Zhao-Bin took over a prinicipal .
  August 2009         Ms. Wang Li-Jung took over a prinicipal .
